England midfielder Michael Carrick is set to be fit for Friday’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia at Wembley.
The 34-year-old Manchester United player sat out training on Thursday because of a groin problem.
Captain Wayne Rooney and Liverpool striker Danny Ings will both miss the game with ankle injuries.
England are through to next summer’s tournament as Group E winners, but boss Roy Hodgson still plans to play “a very strong team”.
“We are not in an experimental mode, we think we’ve done enough experimenting,” said Hodgson.
“We think we do know what we want to do, we think we know the players who are capable of helping us to do what we want to do.”
