  1. I m from Iceland and I love to see our national team do well. I have not often been as proud in my life but when we amolst knocked out the world champions, France, from the EC. France got 2 goals ahead in Paris but we didn t give up and equalized before Trezeguet saved the day and scored the goal that got them to Holland and Belgium. So I am very proud of my national team, but my passion for it is nowhere near my passion for Arsenal. I like to see Iceland play against Spain and such, but I would watch the Arsenal U-18 against Bristol City.So Arsenal all the way for me. I think the national teams are more important for people from small nations like me. Part of the reason might be that all of the players in the national side don t play in Iceland. So those who are playing have not been competing against my local team, and therefore I don t hate them like I hate John Terry or Jermaine Jenas.
